Last Saturday, Matthew & I went to check out Dave & Busters in Cary that had opened recently. It was packed! Of course it was Black Friday weekend & it's the holiday season. I find it amusing that Dave & Busters carry Pump It Up Machines instead of DDR. 

We played Infinity Blade X & I played G Dragons Crayon on PIU. Plus spin the wheel, Pac Man Battle Royale & some bizarre Clown Shooting horror game that we beat together & got 2nd in the ranking :3

Ahh I wanna go back for my Birthday. 

After work today which went fast, I went to the mall & started Christmas shopping. But it's hard to figure out what to get certain people. And I don't wanna just get people gift cards. But time to finish up with some online shopping so the gifts are more unique and suited to whom I want to give them to. I saw SO much stuff I liked x_X now that the stores have changed what they stock cause weeks ago I saw absolutely nothing I wanted at the mall.

I still need my shelves put up in my room @_@

So I got hired at IGA/Carlie C's. Back to the grocery store business. The store I'm hired at is getting a massive remodeling.
Still didn't expect my parents to move out here. They are leaving to NC in my car tomorrow. So I should have my car by this time next week.

How our Government works nowadays.

Reddit partially helped with my move to North Carolina. I read a lot of great things randomly about the state in the comments. (And a lot of backwards things about the state as well -_-;)

Places (Quail Lakes Car Wash mainly) tried to upsale stuff on Prizm to me. So I'd ask if the most recent thing I fully knew about needed replacing and made up some lie about how I'm scared if the car would fail on me because of it. 95% of the places went along with it which would distract them from what they were originally trying to upsell to me. My car has never had any problems.

So I lasted barley a month at Hobby Lobby. I thought I was getting the hang of the place & starting to make friends with 2 of my coworkers there. But I had the worst anxiety going in every day. Never felt that at a job before. And I got written up for one register mistake which I knew was my fault though I had no idea I did anything wrong at the time. But it felt like 3 of the managers didn't like me & had it out for me. So when I was about to get written up a 2nd time for supposedly not ringing up a feather worth $3.99 out of the dozens that a customer had bought & came to return, I voluntarily quit on the spot & told my manager off. She didn't care & had a coworker escort me out of the store.

The manager that had hired me had been cold since the day I had an interview with her. Out of me & 2 girls that were hired the same time, I lasted the longest and forced myself to resign. I heard my manager call a customer a bitch for accidentally bumping into her. And my manager also picked on us what we ate for lunch. Plus she said I couldn't do warehouse work as that was "guys only". Most of the people there are a bit crazy & as weird as it feels right now, I'm glad I quit.

Out of my 7 years of retail combined, this just surprises me. I ask myself "how did I fuck up so bad?" but as my brother put it, "Hell, even Taco Bell would treat you better" which I agree with. And Matthew hugged me & assured me they're just crazy & the only mistake I could make is how bad I drive in Grand Theft Auto 5. Kayla told me that Hobby Lobby is only good for getting Copic Markers at xD

At least I get paid a full check tomorrow.

So I'm back to applying places. Hot Topic, Old Navy & other places called while I had my job but I didn't return calls partially because the places that I did try to schedule interviews with, couldn't schedule me during my Hobby Lobby shifts. For a place I ended up quitting in the end. I called places back and they said they'll take another look at my application and call again. So here's hoping to that.

My brother Kevin walked into my room & mentioned he felt bad. That I came out here & all I'm doing is sitting in my room, back on the laptop applying places & don't get to go out. I have gone out a couple times, but not too much is going on atm as everything I'm looking forward to is later in this month (Pokemon X, Halloween party, Zombie run, Matthews Bday) & November (Lots of movies, Thanksgiving).

I should have my car here around the end of this month. My parents sold the house and have to be out by October 15th. Apparently I found out 10 mins before being dropped off at the airport in August that my parents were planning to move out here but they were waiting on me to leave/make the first move.

It feels weird that now I can't just fly back to Stockton and visit everyone as easily with my parents moving as well.

And that makes me a little sad deep inside.

I just realized it will be 2 months officially together for me and Matthew on his Birthday October 28th.

So since I've moved to North Carolina, I've felt little to no stress and welcomed at my brother Kevin's house. I get fed well, Kevin lets me know when I need to do chores & communicates with me & is eager to set up internet access to my room. Alley and him don't mind me taking off for a weekend and treat me like an adult etc.

In the first 5 days of getting to NC, yes I did start a new relationship, but I trust Matthew and I couldn't be any happier. I remember my heart pounding as I went up the steps & down the hallway to greet him at the airport with Alley & Kevin. I remember how nervous I felt being around him the first night I was here and then eventually the first time he kissed me on my bed and all the butterflies I felt.

This last weekend, we went to Myrtle Beach and I was so happy to splash in the water on the beach and feel the sand and enjoyed spending it with him by my side ♡

On the 12th day of being here, I got hired at Gander Mountain (kinda like Bass Pro Shop) as part time apparel. Tomorrow I have an interview at Hobby Lobby. I'm willing to work 2 part time jobs as long as they can work around each other until I start school here.

After Hobby Lobby tomorrow, I wanna buy a poster board & start an art project. I also need to buy work clothes. I wonder when I'll start at Gander since I have to wait for the background check to clear from CA.

AND IM STILL LOOKING FOR POST CARDS!!! I didn't really get a chance to look at Myrtle Beach T__T but I forgot about it at the mall.

It sucks not having my car but according to my brother & parents, it will be here soon. Cause my parents plan to move out here as well.

Annnnndd I still think I'm fat...

Been busy packing, stressing about what to do on my last few days in California. Cause I have a flight August 24th to move & I already put in my 2 weeks notice at work.

I'm moving cause I've been in Stockton my entire life. I wanna take a chance in a different area. Plus all the little shit just piled up here that I couldn't stand much more any longer. I will miss those closest to me dearly though.

Lara Croft Cosplay Photoshoot

Lara Croft from the reboot 2013 Square Enix / Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raider is the very first cosplay I have ever done.

I didn't get it fully finished as I would like, and I was missing the quiver, had an incorrect holster design, my snow axe broke, I coulda used more fake blood and dirtiness but I still enjoyed it non the less.

I had a last minute photoshoot thanks to Jill hooking me up with a photographer that was free! :] It was fun doing the shoot. I got to jump around in the Bamboo outside the Hilton.

Yayaya I know Lara Croft doesn't have a labret piercing or french acrylic nails but IDGAF.
More about Fanime happenings later, I've had a busy week and was in the midst of typing up a summary for it on my laptop.

TL;DR Worrying too much about Fanime, Car maintenance, packing and driving across country within the next few months.

Slightly buzzed right now, laying in "bed" on a blanket on the floor in Lathrop at JEELZ, thinking about how I don't know what I want in life right now. I'm not saying I have nothing to do or that I'm emo or anything. I have SO many choices to make on what I want to do in life/follow right now that it overwhelms me on what path to take.

Cause I need a break, I need a vacation~! AGAIN!

 Something that made my day was running into 7-11 to get a single stamp & having the worker tell me that if I buy 2 kickstarts (Mtn dew energy drinks) for $1.89 each, I'll get a 3rd kickstart, a sandwich & a water free. And it was true! I paid $4 something for a stamp & 3 energy drinks, a cold water bottle & delicious sandwich. That shoulda been like $10.

And we got fancy new pin-pads on our checkstand. If you make an error, it makes a loud buzzing sound that sounds like "DERP!" & so far customers have less trouble using these than our old ones!

So as always, I'm picking up the slack at my store. /rant
  Apparently when I was on lunch, I missed a commotion up front where my manager got hit cause he was stopping 2 African American guys from stealing cigarettes. Yes, these guys snuck up into the service center & stole 2 cartons of cigarettes. And put them under an 18 month old kid sleeping in a stroller! LP stops them & gets the guy into the office with his kid. Cops come, take the guy away after getting the mom to pick up her kid. The guy had just gotten out of federal prison & now has shoplifting & child endangerment charges. Sad.

These guys show up every night when I close.

This sort of shit (on top of several other things) is happening at my store / Stockton every single day and is the reason I need to get out.

ASMR & triggers

So for those who don't know ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Basically it is a pleasant tingling sensation felt in the head, neck, spine or other parts of the body in response to stimuli. The best way for me to describe it, is ask if you get tingles when random people brush your hair? If you do, that's what it is, except you can also get it just from sounds.

Lots of people can get it just from hearing random tapping or scratching sounds. I personally feel tingles when people are brushing my hair, sometimes when I hear people playing with a brush or brushing their own hair, from people gum chewing, from people leaning in close and whispering to me in certain ways, from spray bottles, from people writing little notes on paper and folding them up. Etc. This is not sexual! I do not feel turned on by this, I just feel pleasant and happy. (There is a common misconception outside the community that people get turned on by watching these videos, maybe some do, but I don't.)

So it feels weird sharing this little tidbit of information about me but yes ASMR is something I listen to on random nights on my iphone to help me fall asleep. Something like this just proves how fascinating the brain really is and proves much more why I wanna major in Psychology.

Random things on my mind in just the past few minutes

So right now I'm getting ready to go to Wal-mart (which is another company I hate) but they are cheap and I'm poor so yeah, plus they have more stuff than what I needed to get at Raleys (very rarely do I go to Wal-mart to food shop, I mainly go to Raleys that's right THERE next to me, but I'm making an exception this once) and possibly a Rave out in Galt tonight with some friends?

I alsooo had fun on Kazumi's birthday this past Monday :] Her aunt paid for me to get my eyebrows threaded after I unsuccessfully tried to get them waxed all week! (The lady by my work wasn't there). We also had Chucks, went to Arden Fair Mall, Chick-Fil-A, World Market and Sky High Sports!

I'm playing Ragnarok again! The server was DDOS attacked but I got my levels back and farmed most of my shit back already. I also paid for a Fallen Angel Wing with a donation. Yeah, I'm sad spending money on a virtual game but people do that on Gaia, people do that on League of Legends. I have spent more on LoL and I don't even play!!!

I need to make loading screens for the server and need to stop being lazy about it. I have till the 14th ahh. I have 2 days left of Vacation.

Yesterday I finished off a bottle of Kinky Liqueur with Eddy, Jill, Cory and Aaron. So we only had like 2-3 shots each haha; and got buzzed playing Pokemon Master Trainer board game and Dirty Minds board game.

Gotta give most of my manga's to Kazumi. I never look at them or read them.

Fluffy requested my old project playlist just now. I haven't logged in on years, so I'm making an FM Gem playlist atm :]

Then I gotta pick up Eddy and we're gonna try a different culture/ethnic restaurant tonight with my coworkers.And see a movie after I suppose!

I also wanna play Ragnarok tonight with Jill & Cory if I have time cause they started playing RO again. So gonna try out Deliverance-RO if anyone cares to play with me? Hopefully it'll be a good server.

 Last Friday Eddy and I went to Johns Incredible Pizza Co in Modesto. They closed the one in Stockton and I can kinda see why, the Modesto one seemed so much nicer and more active. Eddy and I grabbed the buffet and headed to the Vatican room and watched Tinkerbell while we ate haha;

Then we played Speed of Light and DDR and beat Time Crisis 4 together!

We explored the messy Modesto Wal-mart and Toys R Us. Was tempting to go to the mall but I had no energy left. I'm still sick!

Yesterday, Sunday after work, I went with Eddy to P2000 Vanguard tournament. While I couldn't enter as it was full, I watched Eddy and Chandler play and Chandler won the mat in the end which he gave to Eddy. I met some of Eddy's other friends Darlene, Isaiah
and Ivan that I made friends with during the tourney and we went to Sushi House Buffet afterward for dinner.

Unlimited Sushi going around on boats (I kept snacking on the Callifornia Rolls) and unlimited Miso soup, wontons with sweet and sour, chow mein, Orange chicken, egg rolls and other delicious foods? Mmmmmm I wanna go back again!!! But for lunch before 3:30 cause it's 5 bucks cheaper haha! I don't eat any of the fancy seafood at dinner time.

xD it was a lot of fun hanging out with them in the ghetto West Ln lot. I saw my friend Daniene randomly as I went into the Chinese grocery store where Eddy applied to be a cashier (they had a sign up posted on the doors).

Today, after crying at the end of my work shift, I'm full of negative energy that i need to get rid of. I just trimmed my hair and watched funny Youtube videos. Which seemed to help a bit. But I'm starving and should eat something now.

Going to the doctors a week ago. I needed a sinus infection antibiotic because bed rest, and meds and such the days before weren't enough. The doctor there was very nice, but she kept pushing GARDASIL on me. The HPV vaccine. I politely told her I would check it out later and she just kept going on and on about how important the drug was and that I only have one year left to get it.

I refuse to get that vaccine. It's still being tested. And look it up, it can actually increase your chances of cervical cancer! No this is not a conspiracy theory! 

TL;DR THERE IS NO LINK BETWEEN HPV AND CERVICAL CANCER. Even the FDA themselves said so!

I noticed I don't really have any art work posted anywhere online to show people (my Deviantart doesn't count lol) and so I'll post some of it here, though most of it is several years old...

I need to find that newspaper article where I was interviewed about my art and scan it again!

My most recently worked on piece is 'The Darkness' with Jackie Estacado screaming in pain via Prismacolor markers on a dollar store thick poster board. I'm still sketching in the background to color in later when i buy more pens!

Tornado Vs Tornado. This is the first AP art piece I did my senior year of High School and then I got stuck with a natural disaster concentration that I HATED! This was watercolor on a 30 X 22 poster board & I was well known by this piece. It was in the Lincoln 06 yearbook as well.

The Object Self Portrait I did as my first project in Art 2 that got me thrown straight into AP. I took pride in the Star Ocean logo which took forever to DRAW out, the rest looks bad to me.

Wolf surrounded by fire in the snow - oil pastels. I think this was also in the yearbook. This took like an hour or two? XD

When I was in Graphic Design. A CG of my cat Kavren. RIP Kavren! I had to show the WIP because some people didn't even believe it was my work. It's not even that great! Look at dat unfinished background! Cheap grass and lots of pen tablet strokes for fur lol

My best friend told me I should make a tornado of birds. She meant the birds would FORM the tornado itself. I decided to just do a random tornado with birds in it because the other concept sounded too hard. Plus I was lazy for half of AP. So I half assed this a lot towards the end. Look at dat color lololol Prismacolor pencils were my favorite thing senior year

An angel with bondage trapped in an Earthquake type scene. Yeah, I really didn't know what to do for my concentration, nor did i care anymore. I got a lot of heat for this.

Its me, supposedly. Walking by colored rocks that would make you believe your on acid on the beach. With a Tsunami coming up in the background. This picture's ugly but I like the coloring detail/mixture in small sections. Especially the reflection of the moon in the water.

A watercolor of me and one of my ex best friends. This was derived from a photo and some colors were changed to make it complimentary. And someone in class spilled water on my forehead on this pic as I worked on it. Betch. 

It's one of those 'grab a picture from a magazine, sketch it out, then charcoal shade it in, then turpentine to spread it around and make it look messy and cool all within 20 minutes' type of picture ;D

WHY OH WHY DID I PUT A THICK BLACK LINE AROUND THE PAPER THE DRAGON IS COMING OUT OF? Why are the sphere's arranged so badly that it's hard to tell that's a hand? WHY DID I OUTLINE SO MUCH IN MY YOUNGER DAYS? Haha I love the watercolor background though but this could have turned out a LOT BETTER if I had known what i knew today about making art.

ANYWAYS, I know I have done more art but nothing big. I was thinking about it earlier, how I miss drawing and how I should start drawing again and not on photoshop ( I hate the feeling and technique of doing digital art for whatever reason, photoshop is used for photographs for me ;D ) So time to bust out the sketch book, some nice pencils and pens and start drawing again.
