Cause I need a break, I need a vacation~! AGAIN!

Something that made my day was running into 7-11 to get a single stamp & having the worker tell me that if I buy 2 kickstarts (Mtn dew energy drinks) for $1.89 each, I'll get a 3rd kickstart, a sandwich & a water free. And it was true! I paid $4 something for a stamp & 3 energy drinks, a cold water bottle & delicious sandwich. That shoulda been like $10.

And we got fancy new pin-pads on our checkstand. If you make an error, it makes a loud buzzing sound that sounds like "DERP!" & so far customers have less trouble using these than our old ones!
This screen has clearer HD than my phone or tv.

So as always, I'm picking up the slack at my store. /rant
Apparently when I was on lunch, I missed a commotion up front where my manager got hit cause he was stopping 2 African American guys from stealing cigarettes. Yes, these guys snuck up into the service center & stole 2 cartons of cigarettes. And put them under an 18 month old kid sleeping in a stroller! LP stops them & gets the guy into the office with his kid. Cops come, take the guy away after getting the mom to pick up her kid. The guy had just gotten out of federal prison & now has shoplifting & child endangerment charges. Sad.

These guys show up every night when I close.

This sort of shit (on top of several other things) is happening at my store / Stockton every single day and is the reason I need to get out.

/sigh money matters and opinions

The infamous "if I was rich instantly" idea.

*I'd pay off all my current debt first thing.
*I'd pay off all my families debt (my mom has a ton in medical bills).
*Depending how much money I had, I'd hire a person to help me invest/control it.
*I'd buy a new car, either a Camaro or Chevy Volt. Custom made.
*I'd completely renovate the house I'm in now for my parents. Like tear it down, re-landscape it and build a new one on the ground.
*I'd buy myself a reasonable nice house in the bay area for me and Eddy to move to and a couple room mates? (Who wants to live with us for a lil bit? Kayla, Kate, Jill?)
*I'd buy Kayla and her mom a house and help take care of the family ranch/well.
*I'd have a big party and cater L&L Hawaiian BBQ
*Get everything on my wish list, which is expensive to me now but would be knocked out in a day ;D
*Finish my education, fully paid for, maybe live in the dorms somewhere and look for a good job I can invest into.
*I wouldn't stop working, but I'd rather find a job I much enjoyed compared to Slave-mart.

If only.

Its amazing how people in the United States are programmed, or told in our western society that the goal is to become rich. Or get a job that makes you rich. Where as Japan and a lot of other country's, retail and other jobs aren't as frowned upon. Each person is important, emphasizing the wheel can't turn without the spokes. Of course in other countries, a lot of things are more expensive but the minimum wage is also way higher.

I don't want to be so filthy rich that I become greedy or inhumane. Rather, I'd like more money to live a lifestyle that I wish I could have lived growing up that more fortunate people live. Also to help out my parents, because I hate seeing my dad stress so much everyday and having to work so hard after retirement to keep us afloat. Nothing like hearing bill collectors calling the house all the time and seeing your parents go to a lawyer to avoid bankruptcy. Nothing like being dragged out of bed at 8am so your dad can take you to Golden 1 to withdraw your savings of $500 to get to $3k so he can pay a bill immediately. I had no idea what had happened that day. I'm scared to ask.

Then it sucks to hear your best friend has to pay so much to take care of her parents. And wishing you could do something to help her, on top of wishing you could already help yourself and your own parents.

Growing up, it didn't feel like this. When Bill Clinton was in office, it felt like even if people were poor in the early 90's they were happy and people had money to do things.

Even if I can't get rich instantly, I really strive to make a good living one day, that I make enough to take care of my basic needs, to pay all my bills, and not have to worry so much and also to afford decent entertainment and have good friends and family over. You know, just enough to make life really good.

And I do have a pretty good life now as bad as it can be at times. As much as I feel I'm at my breaking point. I see others less fortunate than me and it pushes me more deep inside that i need to be thankful for what I already have and be even more determined to get where I wanna go. I don't know if I'll be able to do that staying in Stockton...

So as much as I believed 2012 was a year of change, I think I also had a lot of fun this year and I believe that 2013 will be more stressful, more goal/work orientated to get me, where I need to go.

Also I found it funny that Savemart responded to my idea:
Because it would be nicet o feel more comfortable at work. We look like Burger town workers, not "professional"

Partay at JEELZ

I have so much to catch up on as of late.

I feel spoiled lately cause well my bestie got me a Sailor Saturn shirt from Hot Topic.

And Eddy randomly dropped by one day outside my house and gave me L.A Noire after I said i was gonna buy it the day before plus a dvd and some tokidoki figures. I really wanna finish L.A Noire when I find the time, it's a great game!

Kate had her birthday on the 14th and we all played Apples to Apples & Rockband.

Then this past weekend I spent the night at Jill's on Friday night after i got off work and stayed there till Monday morning. I fell asleep watching Pokemon white movie while laying against Eddy. On Saturday I helped Eddy and Mark clean the hot tub and went to shower afterward. Somehow I felt really sick right afterward. Eddy found me ibuprofen and opened all the windows and turned on the fans and kept holding me, trying to make me feel better. When he left the room, I finally went and puked in Aaron's toliet and I instantly felt better lol;; then I had a headache and laid around for awhile.

My headache persisted until the party started that night and went away after my first shot of Vodka. I bought a bottle of Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka at Save mart. Everyone really liked that stuff and it went fast! Eddy mixed it in with Cherry Vanilla Pepsi next and it was really good!

I felt like I really connected with Michie and Michelle and some others and they told me what they had thought of me the last few years and what I was going through and how well I learn stuff on my own after struggling through hardships. And how much of a good friend I am to them. Maybe it was the alcohol talking but that night, it felt like a lot of people really cared for me, much more than I really ever expected them to.

I close everyday this week at Slavemart. I don't really care though. I rushed to Wal mart tonight after work to get dye because my hair roots bother me so much!

I should start on dyeing my hair now at 1:30am cause I have to be up at 7am and Im driving everyone to Six Flags Vallejo tomorrow from Hayward. I hope we can get there when it opens at 10:30 and stay till 8pm.Then Chick-Fil-A afterward.

If Save Mart is stupid...

So worst case scenario at the end of February is loosing my job, but only if UFCW-8 & Save Mart Supermarkets can't come to an agreement about benefits.

Then this SOPA thing is a headache...

I already witness humanity dying every day.

>> Happy time :]
I WANT A RAINBOW COLORED ALPACA!
